ITBP Driver Selection Process
The selection process for ITBP Driver Recruitment 2024 comprises multiple stages
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Physical Fitness Test (PFT) will include activities like running, long jump and high jump
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Under this test, the candidates’ height, chest size, and weight will be measured. Information about the required height and chest size can be found in the eligibility criteria section of the article
- Written Exam: Those candidates who qualify PET and PST will be required to undergo written examination
- Document Verification: The candidates who qualified the written examination, to the tune of ten times category-wise vacancies will be called to appear for verification of original documents (Documentation) on the basis of marks secured in written examination.
- Practial Skil Test/ Driving Test: i) Candidates, who qualified PET, PST, Written Examination and Documentation (Verification of original documents) will appear in Practical (Skill) Test. This test will carry 50 marks and qualifying marks for all candidates (irrespective of categories) shall be 50%. However, the Practical (Skill) Test will be qualifying in nature only.
- Merit List & Medical Examination: Only those candidates who qualify the PET, PST, Written Examination, Documentation, Practical (Skill) Test and selected in order of merit will put through Detailed Medical Examination (DME) to assess their fitness.
